DAILY · ONE PASS

Hot water and unscented soap is all it needs. Skip citrus and pine cleaners — cats actively avoid those smells, and a tray that smells wrong is a tray they stop using.

Somewhere quiet with a clear exit — not a dead end, not next to the food bowl, not beside the washing machine. The usual guideline is one box per cat, plus one spare.
TOPPING UP BEATS REFILLING
A weekly top-up keeps the bed at working depth for a fraction of the litter a mid-month full change would use.
